AI News You Should Know

NotebookLM’s audio overviews features captivated users by transforming dry documents and media into lifelike, podcast-style discussions. With the new customize feature, you’ll now be able to tell the AI hosts who to talk to and what to focus on (i.e. generate a chat aimed at teens — or zero in on just one part of a larger document). In this larger announcement, Google also announced a pilot for NotebookLM Business.

ChatGPT Lands on Windows with a New Windows App - OpenAI has launched a preview of ChatGPT for Windows, bringing its popular AI chatbot to Microsoft's operating system. Currently available to ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users, the app offers features like file and photo uploads, document summarization, and image generation using DALL-E 3.

Nvidia just dropped a new AI model that crushes OpenAI’s GPT-4 - no big launch, just big results. It marks a significant shift in the company’s AI strategy and potentially reshaping the competitive landscape of the field.

Get AI Smart

Here is a lesser-known trick with ChatGPT’s Memory feature - it can store shortcuts, saving you time during chats. Here’s how to set it up:

You need a Plus subscription to use the Memory feature. Click on your account name, then select ‘Settings’, ‘Personalization’, and turn on ‘Memory’. Teach ChatGPT shortcuts in a new chat by saying:
 Remember that when I start a prompt with ‘!si’, it means I want you to search the Internet; ‘!ci’ means create an image etc.
