Perplexity MAC OS App arrived on Oct 24th! The app provides AI-powered search capabilities directly from your desktop, offering both free and Pro subscription options. The MAC desktop app offers exclusive voice dictation and other keyboard shortcut features that the web version doesn’t offer today. Curious? According to a report, OpenAI is gearing up for a big launch with its new model, Orion, expected to debut by December 2024. This one’s set to be a game-changer, reportedly up to 100 times more powerful than GPT-4. If this report is true, we may be getting an early holiday gift right around the two-year anniversary of ChatGPT.
Apple first revealed plans to roll out its new Apple Intelligence features, at its WWDC in June, and ahead of the public launch of the first set of AI features, this week, as part of the iOS 18.1 update, (which includes AI-powered writing tools, image cleanup, article summaries, and a redesigned Siri), it’s released the second set, in beta, as part of the iOS 18.2 update, which will include the long-awaited, highly-anticipated, integration with ChatGPT. See all that is coming to the iPhone and it may change how we use it forever.
