AI News You Should Know

OpenAI introduced a new AI model today (5/13) called GPT-4o (or "Omni"), which can handle text, speech, and video inputs. It is an upgrade over GPT-4 and provides "GPT-4-level" intelligence across multiple modalities.

The new ChatGPT interface has a more conversational layout, and a desktop app for macOS is being released (Windows later). Probably the biggest announcement is that the GPT Store, OpenAI's library of third-party chatbots built on its models, is now available to free ChatGPT users.
